April 2004:

Zak won't be coming to International Mr. Leather in Chicago this year - Zak's dog Basia had a leg injury and had to have a $3000 surgery on April 16 to fix the problem. He's got to carry her around for the next eight weeks while the repair heals.

Zak did a radio interview on the satellite radio station Sirius Radio - he appeared on the Derek and Romaine show on the OutQ station. He had a lot of fun doing the interview, even though after the interview, they speculated that he was in his mid-40's (he's actually 39 this year).

Zak has been bartending at the Faultline bar in Los Angeles to make a bit of "mad money" - he works on Friday and Saturday nights inside and on Sunday afternoon on the outside patio. If you're in Los Angeles, drop by and say "Hi" and have a drink.

Due in part to his dog's injury, Zak unfortunately will not be doing the Bad Boys Pool Party in Palm Springs in May this year.

Zak has three new movies coming out - "Zak Attack" (already released and available from Falcon), "Hard Cops" (being released the end of May, from Mustang Studio), and "Bolt" (will be released later this summer, from ChiChi LaRue and Rascal Studio). Autographed copies of the movies will soon be available for purchase at this site - check the Zak Store pages for more information!

Zak recently purchased a new truck – it’s 2004 F150 4x4 Supercrew – model Fx4. It’s a 5.4 litre V8 4-door truck – and it looks like a big Tonka truck (it’s called the Tonka truck by the enthusiasts).

Zak purchased a new bed recently, from Tempur Pedic. The bed is made of a special TEMPUR material that conforms to your body - it was initially developed for NASA to relieve the pressure experienced by astronauts during lift-off. He's been having the best sleep on the new mattress - it is incredibly comfortable. All his neck and back issues are gone. Zak highly recommends this great mattress!

Zak recently picked up a TiVo personal video recorder - it's fantastic, as he can tape all his favorite shows automatically on a hard drive. He never misses a show now that he wants to see.

Zak has several new projects in the works at the moment, including the hope to open up his own studio to do films with a little harder edge to them. He is working on a couple of scripts - if you want to offer suggestions as to what you'd like to see, post them at the MuscleService forums.

Zak decided to shave his head last year - he now has a "skin-head" style of look. He also had his nipple re-pierced and sports his 2 gauge Prince Albert in his new movies! Of course, he'll never shave his body!

Zak moved into a new house in February of 2002. It is a great place in West Hollywood (just around the corner from Beverly Hills). It's a great three bedroom with lots of windows, and a big backyard for the doggies.

Zak's former video company, Men of Odyssey video, folded in 2003 and he now is free to do movies for other studios. Unfortunately, the movies "The Journey Back" and "The Joint" are now unavailable - if you find them in a store, pick them up now as they are collector's items (unless another studio purchases the assets and intellectual property of Men of Odyssey in the future and re-releases the movies).
