WHY A ZAK SPEARS WORSHIP SITE?

I thought you might ask. Well, there are plenty of other pages out there extolling the virtues of Steve Kelso, Ken Ryker and the like, but poor Zak didn't have a home on the Web. After searching the net for the past while, I couldn't find anything similar. So I thought, "Why not?" Lord knows, there's no other porn star like him - hot, hairy, completely versatile, and with a voice that makes you want to drop to your knees and worship him when you hear it. So this site was the first Zak Spears site on the 'Net, which debuted in March 1997.

As for his name - it's strange to me that his "nom de plume" is Zak. It really seems to fit him, for some reason. Ever since I was a kid, I always loved the name Zak. It's funny, but when I was confused in my early youth, I thought that if I ever had a kid, I'd name him Zak (that's assuming it was a boy <grin>). However, thankfully, I came to my senses with puberty, and no longer consider the idea of procreation (at least not the type that results in a kid).

A few years ago, I was flipping through a copy of Obsessions magazine (February 1994 edition) at the bookstore and saw the pictures of this hot, hairy stud. I immediately purchased the magazine. Then, a couple of months later, on a sojourn through a video store in Montréal, I saw his picture on a video cover and immediately rented the video. I thought, "Wow, this is going to be good". When I turned on the tape and heard the voice coming out of that beautiful furball, I couldn't believe it - deep, sonorous and commanding. Dream city! And I was hooked.

So, I thought that I would put up a Zak Spears page on the 'Net for all you Zak fans out there. Hope everyone enjoys these pages - they will continue to grow as I get more pictures and information.

When I initially put this website up in March 1997, I joked to friends that maybe he would someday see the website and contact me.  Well - Zak contacted me in October 1997 about the website and let me know that he was impressed and flattered to have a website dedicated to him.

Zak and I started chatting regularly when he was on AOL.  At the end of November, a friend of Zak's sent me some pictures of him that he took just after Zak had finished high school.  This friend, Dale, ended up three-way conferencing us on the telephone one Sunday afternoon, and that was my first time hearing his voice in person and getting a chance to know who he was - the first conversation was quite unexpected and was definitely a fantasy come true for me.  Zak has an incredible voice (which can melt your socks) and a great personality - and he's a wonderful person to talk to - very nice, friendly, and down to earth.  We continued to chat regularly through AOL and spoke fairly regularly on the telephone, and as a result, over time have become very good friends.

I had the great fortune of going down to Los Angeles to visit and stay with Zak and his roommate in August (1999).  The buzz in the industry was always on how nice a guy Zak was - that was greatly understated.  He is warm, friendly, has a great sense of humour, and he is an absolutely amazing person.  I felt totally welcome and had a great time on my visit, and cemented the friendship I've built with him even more.  If you'd like to read the whole story of my vacation, click here.

While I was down on my visit, Zak and I chatted a lot about the website, and he granted me authorization to make the site the official site for him on the Internet.  So this website is now the official place to go on the web for any information about him!
